DIGITAL TONY: All Vegas Eve

The tricks and treats that you need

Antonio Llapur

As a kid, I'd start planning my Halloween costume in April, even though I usually ended up as Luke Skywalker or Batman. But my childhood difficulty in choosing a costume pales in comparison to deciding where to go this weekend.

Thursday, it's the annual Beaux Arts Ball at Studio 54. Sunday is A Nightmare on 54th Street, with an $8,000 costume contest, fire-breathers and more. Tabù's Old School is Sunday, with costumes inspired by movies or TV shows.

At the Palms Saturday is Club Rubber's Halloween Monster Bash with Judge Jules, Richard Humpty Vission, Beej, Gumbee, Danny Love and 4Real & RJ. Sunday is Angels in the Attic with DJ Tino Sanchez. Friday at Risque is the Members Only '80s Party, hosted by none other than Deborah Gibson. Ra has the Get It On & Show It Off Costume Contest and DJs Johnny Kamahele, Warren Peace and Mr. Bob Saturday. Sunday, it's Monster Mashup, with a $3,000 contest and hip-hop-rock mash-ups from DJs Create and Destroyer.

Sunday at Club Rio is the Masque Halloween Costume Ball with Boy George, DJs Adam Webb and T Ski, percussion by Naif, and a $5,000 contest. At Bikinis is the Hedonistic Halloween Lingerie Party. Biz Markie is on Saturday, and Sunday it's the Dia De Los Muertos party with a $1,250 contest.

At the Hard Rock, it's Girls Gone Wild's Elegant Sin with DJ Miss Lisa and costume contests. Sunday, Body English has its Halloween Ball with $10,000 in prizes. Tangerine has the Halloween Weekend Monster's Ball with Biz Markie Friday and DJ Skribble Saturday. At Ice, it's the Monster Ball with DJ Ferry Corsten. At Light Sunday is the Saints and Sinners Halloween Ball, with a $5,000 contest.

Saturday is the Fetish and Fantasy Halloween Ball at the Las Vegas Events Center, with DJs Scotty Boy and Adam Webb, two haunted houses, erotic acts and fire-breathers. Check out Krave for the Fetish and Fantasy After-Hours Party, with Frank Richards, Scotty Boy and Adam Webb.

Saturday is Amnesia Devils & Dolls after-hours at Sapphire, with DJ Miss Lisa, Faarsheed and Sex & Vinyl, plus break-dancing by Mr. Freeze. Ravers, don't miss Devil's Knight 7 Saturday at the Fort Cheyenne Casino, with DJ Keoki, Speedy, Mars, Mark One, Three-Oh and Ryan Donovan—and that's just on the main stage.
