Yes, We're That Desperate

Nicollette Sheridan will perform a 20-minute set with the Pussycat Dolls in their namesake lounge at Pure on February 14 at midnight. Her entourage of supporters naturally will include Michael Bolton, with whom she's rekindled her romance, and naturally a few members of the Desperate Housewives cast. Odds-on favorite for showing up is Eva Longoria, who took to the stage for the lounge's opening last April. Cindy Margolis, the world's most downloaded woman from a free site (Danni Ashe holds the title for pay sites) will be guest-hosting that same night in Pure's Main Room, and DJ AM will be spinning. In Case You Didn't Notice

If you're a MyCrack junkie (that's "MySpace" for the uninitiated, a free hosting site that is the world's third most popular online destination), you might have noticed Pure nightclub popping up a lot as a featured profile and in the banner ads, most recently for the club's first MySpace party on January 27 (Ice had been the site of previous MySpace events). The reason is simple: Pure and MySpace have recently signed a contract for the club to host monthly parties. "We want to associate with places that are really cool," says Ted Dhanik, aka Ted Skillet, who handles marketing for the site. Different promotions are being discussed to be used as incentives to keep people showing up, Dhanik says, from comp entry to hats, shirts and other "goodies."
