Nevada Today is one of the few on-line publications to spring up that really brings something to Las Vegas reporting. I mostly focused on the entertainment writing, which often included Vegas veterans like Mike Paskevich. I admit I did not read every day, but Nevada Today generally offered a good mix of on-line elements as well as aspects of a newspaper and an alternative weekly. I even hear they pay their writers. So, I was sad to see the site now notes it will be taking off all of August. Let's hope for a swift return from Nevada Today. We are a town that can uses all of the voices we can get.
