For a “spiritual retreat.” He says he no longer felt in control of Chappelle’s Show. The humor became so racialized, he wondered if the joke was really on him, telling Time magazine: “I want to make sure I’m dancing and not shuffling ... Your soul is priceless.”Missionary trip; also to connect to her ancestors and preach the word of God, which she does not with clerical conviction but with a politician’s cool aplomb. And, of course, it’s all chronicled on her website and YouTube videos.

Drug treatment and mental help. Word was Chappelle was particularly fond of crack cocaine.Out of politics for the first time in years after a brutal campaign that dredged up ethics challenges, Boggs forms a faith-based company in an attempt to restore her public persona.
WHAT GOOD DID IT DO?
He’s back doing stand-up but hasn’t committed to restarting his show, for which he forfeited a deal potentially worth $50 million.Mixed bag. Though she was charged with lying about her residence and paying for a nanny with campaign funds and, if convicted, could spend 18 years in prison, she was released on her own recognizance.
