The 38th annual World Series of Poker, underway at the Rio, is a series of 55 poker tournaments culminating with the Main Event, which begins July 6 and last year had a top prize of $12 million. It's every man for himself -- and every woman for herself, as you will hear during Richard Abowitz's interview with poker pro Phil Laak (affectionately known in poker circles as "The Unabomber" because he wears a hooded gray sweatshirt and sunglasses when he plays to dissuade other players from picking up his facial expressions) and his girlfriend, actress Jennifer Tilly, who won a WSOP ladies event last year.
