Vodka: P.I.N.K. vs. Pinky P.I.N.K.: $40; Pinky: $29.95

Justin Jimenez

Two rose bottles caught my attention recently, and though they have little in common besides the name, I swallowed my masculinity—along with a few shots—to see what pink tastes like. Vodka should be clear. Despite its name, P.I.N.K. is colorless, which gives the spirit a big gold star. The gorgeous Pinky bottle is the Swedish brand’s redemption, though, as the P.I.N.K. packaging looks like a little girl’s lip gloss. The tastes veer in two directions. P.I.N.K. is infused with caffeine and guarana, and, surprisingly, has little taste, which is a good thing, especially when mixing. Pinky is blended with botanicals (roses and violets, among others), giving it a floral aftertaste that is definitely not sweet—which, again, is a good thing. Winner: tie.
