Exposing oneself: Overexposed

Are we a nation of excesses? Are we inconsiderate of our neighbors?  The “flag flap” tale of the huge U.S. flag at Vegas’ Towbin Hummer got headlines from Arizona to Ohio last week. The city  ordered the 30-foot by 60-foot flag down. But not before Towbin got nationwide exposure; not before that flag served its most poignant American purpose: publicity. –Stacy J. Willis
