Black, white … and gray

You know Susan Forestieri as the Weekly’s art critic—and if you don’t, haul ass to Page 78 to see what you’re missing—but she was an artist long before coming to us. Her latest showing, a series of large drawings titled Film Noir, is based on stills from dark noir movies. (This one is “Film Noir IV.”) Each image suggests a slice of compressed drama, set in a world of high-contrast blacks and whites, with plenty of moral gray. Haul ass to the Trifecta Gallery, in the Arts Factory, to see what you’re missing. (trifectagallery.com)
