Twelve years after the death of Shannon Hoon, Blind Melon return with new singer Travis Warren and a wholly useless comeback. Warren’s voice recalls Hoon’s at times, and the music is mostly an extension of the lumpy, jammy aimlessness of the band’s final work with Hoon. But it’s less experimental and less personal, which only makes it that much more of a waste of time.
