Profile: After visiting her older brother in Vegas four and a half years ago, Amanda was drawn to Vegas’ vibrancy and the warmer climate. Still a proud Alaskan, Amanda hopes one day to split her time between the Strip and Alaska’s beautiful summers. To satisfy her wanderlust, Amanda follows her boyfriend’s band to such exotic locales as North Dakota, Minnesota and Texas, where, despite frigid temps, she gets all the country music she can stand.
Why I Do What I Do: “The difference is in our crowd. Our bar is come-as-you-are. Anybody can fit in there. Come as you are, have fun, drink with us, play with us and go home feeling like you had a good time.”
Personal Tidbit: Since relocating to Las Vegas, Amanda has become a registered nurse, and once she’s paid off her student loans (thank you, Stoney’s!), she plans to split her time between the two professions.
