Panini Café

This Israeli-Italian café serves good Israeli dishes such as the flatbread malawach, and halumi salad, an enormous bowlful of vegetables and cheese. But Italian dishes are a bit strange, such as penne Athens, pasta tubes tossed with garlic, basil and white wine, or the cheesy ravioli. 2521 S. Fort Apache Road, 558-6555. Sun.-Thur., 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Fri., 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
