Deli Den

Deli Den may not remind anyone of old-time, big-city delis that served hand-cut meats and traditional Eastern European foods, but this homey place is a welcome addition to the city’s far north side. Delicious homemade soups and pastries are complemented by fare such as generous platters of smoked fish, thick potato pancakes and sandwiches piled up with brisket, corned beef and pastrami. 6640 N. Durango Drive. 450-3353. Sun.-Mon., 7 a.m.-5 p.m.; Tue.-Sat., 7 a.m.-8 p.m.
