INGREDIENTS:
1.5 oz. Absolut Vanilla
1 oz. Godiva Liqueur
0.5 oz. Crème De Banana
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice, shake and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with thin banana slices, optional
Created in 2005 by bar manager Jackson at the Sierra Gold Jones & 215 location, the Golden Reward was the favorite cocktail of a loyal gaming patron and therefore named after Golden Gaming’s rewards program, Golden Rewards. Personally, I like my Golden Rewards with a kicker—while catching up over cocktails and sampling items off Sierra Gold’s new bar menu, a girlfriend of mine ordered hers with an added splash of Malibu. That little addition of coconut changed everything. What was a drinkable dessert of chocolate banana cream pie suddenly became chocolate banana cream pie … on a tropical island! That’s my idea of a golden reward, anyway.
