Back for its 13th year, Mike Previtt’s Cars, Stars & Guitars fest will feature a bevy of autos, bikes and boats; Turn the Page: The Premiere Tribute to Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band; and a silent auction and poker walk that will benefit the Injured Police Officers Fund. All well and good, but what really gets our motor running will be the General Lee, up on the main stage in all its orangey, “Dixie”-horned, non-opening-doors glory. And though Jessica Simpson won’t be on-hand, it’ll be flanked by staffers from OG Cabaret, Havana Honeys and Hogs and Heifers. We think Waylon would approve. –Julie Seabaugh
