They had us at “topless charity skydive.” To celebrate our country’s birth—and support breast cancer research—Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club isn’t barbecuing, setting off fireworks or raising a can of Budweiser to our Founding Fathers; they’re doing something way more American. On July 4, porn star Jesse Jane, actor David Arquette and 100 or so brave local men and women will take off their tops and take to the air for the Flight of the Tatas, an attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the largest topless skydive while raising money for education and support organization Living Beyond Breast Cancer. Some jumpers will touch down in the Hustler Club parking lot, and after they land safely on solid ground (and perhaps find a shirt), the Independence Day festivities will continue with Arquette hosting the Bootsy Bellows rooftop afterparty (10 p.m., $30, 795-3131) at the strip club. What’s more American than partying with a celebrity surrounded by beautiful women who’ve just jumped out of a plane? Nothing.
