The 18th annual Electric Daisy Carnival kicked off last night with a sold-out crowd at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway taking in art installations, a cathedral-themed Kinetic Field stage (complete with giant pipe-organ DJ booth flanked by two of Insomniac's signature owls) and a six-minute fireworks display.
According to Insomniac, approximately 134,000 people were in attendance for opening night, which included sets by Armin van Buuren, Diplo, Afrojack and locals 3lau and Steve Aoki.
