Congratulations are in order for a number of artists and executives in the electronic music industry, as the Electronic Music Awards & Foundation recently announced the nominees for its inaugural awards show—and Vegas is well-represented in the list of EMAF’s initial nods.

Not only have Hakkasan Group’s Omnia and Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival scored noms for Best Club of the Year and Festival of the Year, respectively, but a number of Strip nightclub residents also received recognition.

Three of Vegas’ regular headliners are up for Single of the Year: Hakkasan Group signees Calvin Harris (for “How Deep is Your Love” with Disciples) and The Chainsmokers (for “Roses” with ROZES), along with Wynn resident Diplo of Major Lazer (for “Lean On” with SJ Snake and MO).

Harris is also up for Album of the Year for his fourth studio album, Motion, and Diplo received additional nods for DJ of the Year (competing with Jack Ü collaborator and fellow Wynn resident Skrillex) and Radio Show of the Year (for his “Diplo and Friends” show on BBC Radio’s 1Xtra channel).

The awards show, which will be presented at LA’s SLS Hotel April 14, will air on Fox April 23 (8/9 p.m. ET/PT) and feature live performances from top-billed electronic music artists. For more information about the inaugural awards show, visit emafawards.com.
