Las Vegas Club Notes: Art of the Wild, Golden Tiki, Juliet Cocktail Room and more

The latest edition of Wynn Nightlife and Framework’s iconic Art of the Wild weekender is set for October 6-8 and will mark the event debut for Carl Cox Invites and Ants Ibiza. More party brands like Animale and Rumors will also return, and DJ sets by Black Coffee and Rüfüs du Sol are confirmed. A full lineup of music and fun at XS and Encore Beach Club is expected to be announced soon. Three-day passes start at $100 and tickets and info are available now at wynnsocial.com.

The Golden Tiki is celebrating its 8th anniversary with a week full of special events starting today, August 21 at 8 p.m., with the Ninth Island Celebration honoring Hawaii’s statehood with fire shows, hula dancers and a live performance by Default Valentine. Zouk Group will be hosting the official afterparty for Drake’s All a Blur tour, which lands at T-Mobile Arena over Labor Day weekend, but it’s definitely not just one party. The OVO takeover includes a set by Tiësto at Ayu Dayclub on September 2, a performance by rapper Don Toliver at Zouk Nightclub on September 2, and another live performance from Partynextdoor at Ayu on September 3. Area15 recently announced the lineup for its last massive of the summer, Galactic Zoo, set for September 16 at the A-Lot with additional entertainment across other venues including the Wall. Supporting a headlining set by Noizu will be a joint performance by Bleu Clair and San Pacho, Alltalk, Ana M, Flamingosis, Yasmina, Shapeshftr, and the performing arts group Big Nazo. Disco Lines will headline the third annual Freak The Beat Halloween party set for October 27 at 7 p.m. at Fergusons Downtown. Supporting sets from Angrybaby, Halftime Hooper, Alex Parra and Benjo are on the docket, and food from Peyote and “Techno + Tequila” activations are part of the plans as well. Juliet Cocktail Room at the Venetian celebrated its grand opening on August 17 and Mark Wahlberg stopped by to pour some drinks for other notable guests including Weston Cage, Perez Hilton and Ricardo Laguna. Entertainment for the night included singers Mikalah Gordon and Carly Darling, accompanied by pianists Peter Love and Michael Spadoni and drummer Stephen Attig, with DJ Shift taking over later into the night. A reimagining of the former Dorsey lounge space from the 81/82 Group, Juliet is open daily at 3 p.m. with live entertainment Friday and Saturday at 9 p.m. More info can be found at julietcocktailroom.com.
