Anna Lunoe at Hakkasan Call her an EDM renaissance woman—the Australian DJ and producer also supplied vocals on her recent single, “Breathe.” Check it out (and her fall tour mixtape, available for free on Facebook) before she lands on the decks at the MGM venue’s more intimate Ling Ling Club Thursday night. November 14, doors at 10 p.m., $20 men, $10 women.

No Requests at Velveteen Rabbit Once upon a time, DJs played 1. Music you didn’t recognize or expect and 2. Vinyl recordings. This new party aims to take drinkers back to that golden era, as local vets 8-Bits and Soulrane (along with guests) dig deep into their crates—analog and digital—to play songs that were once their discoveries, and will now be yours. November 15, 10 p.m., free.

Hitachino Nest Beer Experience @ Rx Boiler Room East meets west at Rx Friday night, when Rick Moonen teams up with the Japanese brewery’s owner and brewmaster for a night of far-away suds and comfort food bar bites. Be prepared for a lesson with each libation, as Toshiyuki Kiuchi will offer up his top beer selections while discussing their flavor profiles and unique recipes. A business card raffle rounds the event out, with a large bottle of Hitachino Nest (signed by Kiuchi and Moonen) at stake. November 15, 10 p.m., $50.

Chromeo at 1 Oak Bad news: We’re not getting a live set by the Canadian electro-funk duo during this local visit. Good news: We’re getting a DJ set—with both gentlemen (the 1 Oak in New York City only got Dave 1 back in October). Expect Dave and P-Thugg to drop their own nuggets—and likely also their new single, “Sexy Socialite,” from their yet-to-be-released new album, White Women. November 16, doors at 10:30 p.m., $40 men, $30 women.

DeadGirls and Robots 1 Year Anniversary at Artistic Armory The first anniversary celebration of painter duo DeadGirls and Robots is the second Artistic Armory third-Saturday event—and they say artists are bad with numbers. Also on tap at the strip-mall gallery just southeast of the Orleans hotel-casino are beats from Artisan DJ residents BePM, grub from food trucks Fukuburger and Lobsta Trap LV, and a slew of creative visual attractions. November 16, 7 p.m., free.

ETC! ETC! at XS We hope the Wynn dance emporium rebranded its Sunday nights as “Movement” to show its dedication to moving forward with newer and lesser-known talent. Three weeks in, it’s featuring LA producer/DJ act ETC! ETC!, one of the rising electro/bass stars from Mad Decent, the label run by XS resident DJ Diplo. Nepotistic? Sure, but you’d work your connections for a headlining slot at the country’s top-grossing club, too. November 17, doors at 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women.

Tekkno Flamenko at Marquee You can see the world’s best DJs just about any night of the week, but when can you see a live acoustic electronic music act? This Monday during the Cosmo club’s industry bash The Collaborative, that’s when. Also known as Turbine, the trio of Strip production musicians—including Elvis Lederer from Uberschall—will perform its unique blend of electronica and classical guitar for the industry party’s first Fireside Sessions edition. Acoustic techno? Color us curious. November 18, 10 p.m., $30 men, $20 women, free with Facebook RSVP.

Rock ‘n Roll Martini Party at Blue Martini Calling all cocktail connoisseurs! Head to the Town Square lounge Tuesday night, as CocktailCityVegas.com needs thirsty partygoers to judge its latest cocktail competition. Fifteen mixologists will be on-site, serving up unlimited samples (7-10 p.m.) in the hopes of scoring your boozy vote. The event is complete with sets by local country outfit Ashley Red and DJ Topsider. November 19, 7 p.m., $20 presale, $25 at the door.
