Pamplemousse le Restaurant

Description

One of the first French restaurants to open in Las Vegas, Georges La Forge's Pamplemousse Le Restaurant has been in business since 1976. Just one block off the Strip, the restaurant has true vintage style and classic French cuisine. Candlelight, fresh flowers and French music accent a warm, inviting French Provencal atmosphere. The menu includes Duck Mousse Terrine, Escargots Bourguignone, Pistachio Encrusted Rack of Lamb, Prime Filet Au Poivre, Breast of Duck & Leg Confit with Cranberry Raspberry Sauce, Grand Marnier Souffle and Frangelica Chocolate Mousse Crepes.
The idea for the name came from Bobby Darin, a regular performer in Las Vegas. Many other celebrities, like Frank Sinatra, Siegfried and Roy, Tony Curtis, Debbie Reynolds, Line Renaud, Engelbert Humperdinck, Wayne Newton, the Star Trek Crew chose the Pamplemousse as a quiet hidden gem away from the glitzy glamour of the Las Vegas Strip.
