Bob Bailey is one of the most influential figures to ever reside in Southern Nevada. Bailey arrived in Las Vegas in the mid-1950s after performing as a singer with the Count Basie Orchestra. Launching his Las Vegas entertainment career as an emcee and singer at Moulin Rouge, Bailey became in influential television and radio personality, a civil rights leader and an powerful advocate for minority-owned businesses. He and his wife, Anna, recently sat to talk about his remarkable life in Southern Nevada, and his thoughts about today's Las Vegas.
