Who has the best T and A in the porn industry this year?
That’s what the Adult Video Network wants to know, as it recently opened up the vote for its AVN Fan Awards.
Adult-film enthusiasts can cast ballots for their favorite porn stars – and their favorite porn stars’ body parts – in advance of AVN’s 32nd-annual AVN Awards Show (widely considered “the Oscars of porn”), where fan favorites will be announced alongside the winners chosen by AVN’s award nominating committee.
Fans have the opportunity to vote for their top-five favorites from 50 nominees in 10 categories: Favorite Porn Star (Male and Female), Cutest Newcomer, Hottest MILF, Best Boobs, Hottest Ass, Kinkiest Performer, Favorite Web Cam Girl, Social Media Star and Favorite Studio. Only one vote per IP address per day will be accepted, and voting ends one day before January 24’s AVN Awards Show on January 23.
So, will Alexis Texas take home Favorite Female Porn Star? Is Johnny Castle this year’s fan favorite with a Y chromosome? Only time will tell. Voting is now open at avnawards.avn.com/voting.
While there will definitely be star power on the red carpet come January 24, it’s the days leading up to the AVN Awards that fans are likely looking forward to most. The awards show closes out AVN’s Adult Entertainment Expo, where fans can rub elbows – and not much else, unless they want to be escorted out by security – with their favorite porn stars. The annual trade show takes over the Hard Rock Hotel’s ballroom space and the Joint concert venue for four days beginning January 21.
This week AVN announced that Teen Mom Farrah Abraham will make her first AEE appearance this year, after entering the adult-film industry in 2013 with her Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom sex-tape release. Abraham will be on-site to sign autographs, pose for photos and promote her line of sex toys.
The reality TV-turned-adult film starlet joins a laundry list of adult-film actors and actresses on the convention floor this year. AVN released the AEE talent lineup last month, and stars like Asa Akira, James Deen and Joanna Angel will be on-site to interact with their legions of fans. Last month AVN also announced the AVN Awards nominees. The awards show includes award categories similar to the Academy Awards like Best Director, Best Art Direction and Best Editing, but also gets pretty industry-specific with categories like Best All-Girl Group Sex Scene, BBW Performer of the Year and Best Celebrity Sex Tape (our money’s on Tila Tequila). AVN also recently announced that comedienne and actress Danielle Stewart would be joining AVN Awards co-hosts Alexis Texas and Tommy Pistol as the awards show’s comedic co-host. Lisa Lampanelli, Dave Attell and Jim Norton have filled the position in past years.
