Scottish actor Alan Cumming and the Branford Marsalis Quintet highlight the Smith Center's summer season, announced today and on sale starting April 15 at 10 a.m.

Fresh off Carnegie Hall, the "can't miss" cabaret show Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs kicks off the season July 23 at Cabaret Jazz, followed by Grammy-winning trumpeter Chris Botti July 26 and decorated R&B artist Brian McKnight July 31, both in Reynolds Hall.

August sees the return of Grammy-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz, who's made nine No. 1 contemporary jazz albums, performing with six-time Grammy winner David Sanborn for a masterful performance August 19 in Reynolds Hall.

The Branford Marsalis Quartet features guest vocalist Kurt Elling September 14 in the main hall, followed by a September 16 concert in the same space from accomplished recording artist Paul Anka, who penned Frank Sinatra's "My Way" and Tom Jones' "She's a Lady." Educational nature show hosts the Kratt Brothers finish the season September 17 with fun facts and a plan to save the creatures of the world in Wild Kratts Live!

Tickets to the season's shows start at $19 and can be purchased at thesmithcenter.com or by calling 702-749-2000.
