The standard set by the Vegas Golden Knights is one of excellence and that extends to the entertainment programming at T-Mobile Arena, aka the Fortress, during all home games. The hockey experience in Las Vegas is appropriately flashy and fun and it’s assembled with great care by the team’s vice president of entertainment production Jonny Greco and his crew.

“To create anything requires so much love and heart and passion,” says Greco. “We’re building something for these fans and for this environment and people can say it’s nontraditional. They’re not wrong, but come to the Fortress and check out what our crew is doing. It’s unbelievable.”

On this episode of the All The Vegas, we talk with Jonny about his obsession with movies and childhood dreams of becoming a filmmaker; making the transition from film school to sports entertainment; working with World Wrestling Entertainment and recalibrating his ideas about storytelling and entertaining audiences; coming up with crazy ideas to entertain new hockey fans in Las Vegas; the organic invention of magical moments like the way fans sing the National Anthem before Knights games; and connecting to the community in ways never imagined.
