The one-of-a-kind dinner show “Tournament of Kings” is set to reopen inside its custom 900-seat equestrian theater at Excalibur on July 14. It will be performed six nights a week, at 6 p.m. Wednesday through Monday with additional 8:30 p.m. shows Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Tickets start at $42 and are available at excalibur.com.

A cast of more than 30 actors, musicians and stunt people transports the audience to the times of King Arthur’s court complete with sword battles, jousting and an evil wizard in “Tournament of Kings,” which opened along with the castle-themed resort in 1990. Back then it was called “King Arthur’s Tournament” until it was revamped and renamed in 1999.

“Tournament of Kings” was voted Best Production Show in last year’s All-Time Best of Vegas readers’ poll in Las Vegas Weekly. It will be the third show to reopen at Excalibur. “Thunder From Down Under” and “The Australian Bee Gees Show” are both currently running upstairs in the Thunderland Showroom.
