Dance crew Jabbawockeez are set to bring back “Timeless,” a new show first performed in March 2020 before the pandemic, on Thursday, March 11 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The show has been shuttered since Thanksgiving after reopening in the larger venue on November 6, but recently revised state safety guidelines paved the way for its return. The performance schedule is 7 p.m. Thursday through Monday with additional 9:30 p.m. shows Friday through Sunday and tickets are available at mgmgrand.com.

Jabbawockeez has headlined on the Strip for more than a decade after breaking into the pop-culture consciousness by winning MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew” in 2008. While there are many dance-centric production shows in Las Vegas, none carry the influence of hip-hop and breakdancing like the Jabbas do.

When “Timeless” first opened at the Grand Garden Arena in the fall to accommodate socially distanced audiences capped at 250 people, it moved from its home venue, an intimate 350-seat theater just off the main casino floor. Now the show's maximum allowed capacity is just over 500 due to adjusted guidelines for fixed-seating venues that hold more than 2,500. The arena's normal capacity is 17,000.

David Copperfield’s show and Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club also returned to action in early November at MGM Grand and both closed again temporarily during the winter. The comedy shows have returned to larger ballroom spaces near the arena and Copperfield is primed to return to his theater on March 21.

A handful of other Las Vegas Strip shows are set to reopen next week including The Australian Bee Gees Show on March 15, Absinthe on March 17 and MJ Live on March 18.
