Bryce “The Govna” Graves presents an evening of thrilling sideshow stunts, from glass-walking to razor blade-swallowing, with many dizzying stops in-between. COMEDY: MARIA BAMFORD Arts District comedy club Wiseguys has been open only a couple of months and it’s already scored a big get in booking Bamford, star of Netflix’s gone-too-soon Lady Dynamite and easily one of the most honest, distinctive and flat-out hilarious stand-ups working today. Speaking frankly about her struggles to maintain her mental health, Bamford pivots from eccentric characterizations to all-too-relatable stories of social anxiety with wit, deftness and grace. The Native- and African-American singer is known for her “honey-toned voice” (Chicago Reader) and her expert mixing of musical traditions.
