Last summer, Grammy-winning pop and R&B superstar Usher launched the first new Las Vegas Strip headlining residency since the pandemic shut everything down. Now, after 20 shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, he’s taking his talents south on the Strip, to Dolby Live at Park MGM.

Usher: The Vegas Residency will pick up again on July 15 and will continue to be a Live Nation concert residency event. Tickets go on sale February 25 for 23 performances at Dolby Live through October 29.

According to today’s announcement, the next iteration of Usher’s show will be custom-designed for the Dolby Live stage and will incorporate audience interaction through the 5,200-seat theater. Usher joins Park MGM residents Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga and Aerosmith.

Mars, set to begin an engagement there with his Silk Sonic side project on February 25, teased Usher’s relocation to Dolby Live when Usher popped in to sing a few songs during Mars’ New Year’s Eve weekend shows.

Usher is also one of the top-billed artists for the Lovers & Friends festival, set for May 14-15 at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

Since Usher won't be returning to the Colosseum in 2022, the move could potentially provide more flexibility for Adele to reschedule her residency dates there later this year, but rumors and reports abound that her postponed show could end up at another Strip venue, possibly Dolby Live.

Usher’s complete schedule at Dolby Live: July 15-16, 20, 22-23, 27 and 29-30; August 26-27 and 31; September 3-4, 9-10; and October 14-15, 19, 21-22, 26 and 28-29. Shows begin at 9 p.m. Tickets will be available at ticketmaster.com/ushervegas.
