MUSIC: MIKE PHILLIPS Clark County’s 36th annual Jazz in the Park series once again brings world-class talent to the Government Center Amphitheater for free shows. The five-concert series kicks off with saxophonist Mike Phillips, with performances by Marcus Miller, Jazz Funk Soul, Kayla Waters and Al Di Meola scheduled for later in May and June. Having played with legends like Michael Jackson, Prince and Stevie Wonder, Phillips is sure to bring electrifying energy to this local tradition. MISC: MISS BEHAVE’S GAME SHOW Before Miss Behave’s Mavericks captivated audiences with its raucous variety acts, sassy host and creator Amy Saunders brought us Miss Behave Game Show. The unscripted show launched at Bally’s in 2016, drawing on audience participation for a series of lightning rounds. It was charmingly cheap, campy and absurdly unhinged in the best way possible. It’s not a game show without a little misbehavior, and now, Saunders will revive it for one night only at Majestic Repertory Theatre—and tickets benefit the theater itself (support your local arts!).
