Dirt! The Movie

CineVegas’ Green Film Series at the Springs Preserve comes to a close this week with the local premiere of Dirt! The Movie, which played at Sundance in January. For now, this is your only chance to see the documentary about the substance we all take for granted. Dirt! is in the tradition of recent eco-documentaries like Flow and King Corn, turning a critical eye on an element of nature to which most people give little thought.

Dirt! created a stir at Sundance when one of its producers got into a scuffle with a critic, but only co-director Gene Rosow will be on-hand in Vegas. Expect a lively Q&A session, but probably no fisticuffs.
