The Sci Fi Center moves … across the street

Image
The Sci Fi Center has moved, but it’s still the best place in town to see classics like The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Sci Fi Center Grand Reopening August 6, 7 p.m., free. 600 E. Sahara Ave., 792-4335.

The Sci Fi Center has long been the place to see classic and underground horror, science fiction and exploitation movies, but recently its programming has expanded to include burlesque, performance art and live shadow casts enhancing movies like Clue, Night of the Living Dead and (of course) The Rocky Horror Picture Show. All of those elements will be included in the Center’s grand reopening celebration in its newish location, just across the street from where it used to be.
