A former New York City stand-up comic, Tassel says the toughest part of her current gig is “keeping from tearing up my costumes.” Then again, her routine doesn’t sound easy, either. “I do a run-and-slide, throwing myself on the floor,” she says. “Many times I’ve almost slid directly into the orchestra pit.”
