A night out on the town—especially this town—is bound to produce a story you’ll be anxious to share with your friends and select relatives the next day. Anyone who has partied here in Las Vegas knows this, and soon, so might the world. Advertising firm David & Goliath recently released a new campaign for New York New York. The ads feature epic scenes (a rowdy bar, a sausage-eating contest, a sexy pillow fight, etc.) packaged as the covers of worn paperback novels with cheesy titles—you know, the kind you’d find for 50 cents at Goodwill or Savers. The tagline: “There’s a story everywhere. Be a part of it.” It speaks to our folks’ sense of adventure and inability to keep their mouths shut about their own antics. Genius, we say!
