Tucked away in the southeast part of the Valley, Horseman’s Park recently hosted the 16th BigHorn Rodeo. While much was typical of a small rodeo, including stock events such as bull riding and timed events like pole bending, the BigHorn Rodeo also included campier fare, such as Goat Dressing and Wild Drag Race. The rodeo, sponsored by the Nevada Gay Rodeo Association, is one of 14 gay rodeos being held this year under the umbrella of the International Gay Rodeo Association and helps raise funds for various organizations, including Opportunity Village and an AIDS drug assistance program.
