Lucky Dragon Casino Topping Off Ceremony

A faint chill is starting to overtake the heat of summer, grocery stores are putting out holiday decorations months in advance and people are already breaking out their knit sweaters. On a steamy afternoon, however, I did not expect to see a whimsical tree hovering in the sky. The Penta Building Group hosted a special “topping off” ceremony to celebrate a milestone on the Lucky Dragon’s outer structure. For a brief moment, I thought I saw the Grinch atop his mountain north of Whoville, but it was just a proud worker tethered to the roof awaiting the tree’s arrival. The crowd of workers didn’t bust out into carols, but suddenly I realized I only have 98 days left for my Christmas shopping!
