Unintended local tie-in for Murakami artwork

I just heard something quite odd in the CineVegas Conde Nast lounge/game room/media center: The Murakami work, titled Planting The Seeds, the one to be shown in a few hours at Lake Of Dreams at Wynn Las Vegas, the animated work that is part of a new full-length animated film by the vaunted Japanese contemporary artist, the segment at that has been shown at the Museum of Contemporary Art in L.A. and the Brooklyn Museum, the one that has received laudatory reviews in both art centers … is a 10-minute clip of two juvenile characters, Kailkai and Kiki, throwing poop at each other.

No, this animated work is not an artistic interpretation of the Gibbons’ divorce proceedings.
