Las Vegas poet, performer, veteran, and retired educator Rodney J. Lee celebrates the launch of his third published book, Soul Brothers, with a community literary event at Echo Taste and Sound. Join us for an evening of poetry, storytelling, and meaningful connection as Rodney shares selections from his new collection—a work shaped by decades in the Las Vegas arts scene, service in the U.S. Air Force, and thirty years of teaching in CCSD.

Guests are encouraged to enjoy the full experience of the venue, and it is kindly expected that attendees purchase a drink and an appetizer while enjoying the reading. This support helps create a lively environment for the event and for local arts gatherings.

The evening will feature live readings, a book signing, and opportunities to meet the author. Soul Brothers explores themes of identity, memory, brotherhood, resilience, and the everyday beauty found in lived experience. This event invites the community to celebrate local literature and support a longstanding voice in Las Vegas culture.

The event takes place Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6–9 p.m. at Echo Taste and Sound in Downtown Las Vegas.
