The Nigerian Association of Las Vegas (NALV) proudly presents Nollywood Nights: A Nigerian Independence Day Celebration, an immersive cultural event showcasing the richness of Nigerian history, fashion, art, and entertainment. Taking place on Sunday, September 28th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at The Beverly Theater in downtown Las Vegas, the event will feature a screening of the critically acclaimed film Half of a Yellow Sun, adapted from Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie’s award-winning novel.

Attendees will enjoy a red carpet experience, light Nigerian refreshments (small chops), and a panel discussion with special guests, including renowned Nigerian actor OC Ukeje, who stars in the film. OC Ukeje, a celebrated figure in Nollywood and international cinema, brings star power and insight to the event. With a career spanning over two decades and appearances in films across Nigeria, South Africa, Brazil, the UK, and Canada, Ukeje has earned accolades including Rising Star recognition at TIFF 2016. His presence at Nollywood Nights underscores the global impact of Nigerian storytelling and the vibrant contributions of its artists.
