Local duo The Naturals sent out a MySpace bulletin on July 28 announcing a dramatic mid-tour breakup, with the text attributed to … yours truly. While I’m complimented the band chose me among local writers to (fake) chronicle its (fake?) demise, the piece’s blatant disregard for both punctuation and capitalization is rather irksome and, frankly, a dead giveaway the piece was a forgery. Still, kudos go out to the true author of the phrase, “the gauntlet was thrown down that if things didnt go his way,he would hang himself as a testimony to the strength he had in the band.”
