If this feels like a big deal, good. We’re just getting started.

In recent years, nothing has had a greater impact on the Las Vegas entertainment experience than nightlife. Massive, cutting-edge nightclubs have become the Strip’s theater. Superstar DJs have become its headliners. This has been the latest evolution of the entertainment capital of the world, and just when the rest of that world gets its arms around what it is that continues to bring millions to Las Vegas every year, it changes again.

We recognize these fascinating changes. So this first week of this brand new year, we’re launching Industry Weekly, a special publication inside Las Vegas Weekly that will also be distributed in standalone form within and beyond the local market. In it, we’ll be exploring every little detail and mammoth-sized party fitting together to create this compelling landscape. Incredible nightclubs are just the gateway into an electrifying world encompassing music, food, celebrity, cocktails, fashion, technology, design and more. Industry Weekly will be a thoughtful and creative journey through this world, full of snapshots of these unforgettable experiences and lots of time getting to know the people who create them. After all, our world-class reputation for hospitality was built by great people.

This industry is a big deal in Las Vegas, and it deserves the kind of attention and focus we’re going to provide every week in these new pages. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and you’re invited. No cover charge.
