When Tao Las Vegas celebrated its grand opening weekend in September 2005, hip-hop royalty was in the house in the form of Usher, Nelly, Mariah Carey and Jermaine Dupri. Six years later, the Asian-inspired club is honoring 1,000 nights of Tao this Friday with one of the reigning kings of the genre—and expectant father—Jay-Z.
