Oh Memorial Day, au revoir until next year. You were, as ever, full of drunken crowds, big-deal DJs, celebrities and traffic. You were full of neon-clad 20-somethings, EDM fans dressed in white and so many women carrying their heels back to their hotel rooms.

At the Palms, the weekend started with chart-topping talent taking over the turntables—not DJs per se, but rapper Taboo of The Black Eyed Peas and Foster the People’s Mark Foster, spinning at Rain and Moon respectively. On Saturday, MDW brought Kaskade out of the club for his Freaks of Nature tour at the Cosmo’s Chelsea ballroom, where white balloons floated overhead as everybody danced and danced and danced.

While party people usually take their hard-earned hangovers home on Sundays, DJ Mag No. 1 David Guetta gave dance music fans a reason to party on with a poolside performance at Encore Beach Club on May 27. Later that night, P. Diddy welcomed MDWers to Chateau for his Black & White Affair, while other monochromatic club kids hit Marquee for the White Party featuring DJ Armin van Buuren and lots of easily stained clothing. Just down the Strip, Pure packed ’em in for Sky Blu’s Who Came to Party!? residency, which transformed the club into a confetti-drenched dream and featured the DJ shufflin’ down a catwalk into the middle of the crowd.

Want more? How about Akon performing live at Haze surrounded by photo-snapping fans, or Vegas-bred Ne-Yo singing at the pool party that started them all, Hard Rock’s Rehab? How about Paris Hilton, Reggie Bush, JLo, Juliette Lewis, Ice-T and Coco and so many more? How about a week and a half of solid recovery before it’s time to do it all again at Electric Daisy Carnival? How about a nap?
