If you’ve been waiting to figure out how you’re ringing in 2014, a bunch of New Year’s Eve headliners have been announced: Vice at Lavo ($50-$75), Miguel at Tao ($75-$100), Chuckie at Marquee ($100-$125), Calvin Harris at Hakkasan ($75-$200), Kaskade at XS ($50-$150), Diplo at Surrender ($52-$77), Lil Jon at Tryst ($20-$50) and Sebastian Ingrosso at Light (price TBA). Note: Ticket prices are presale and may go up.

Speaking of Marquee, the megaclub will introduce itself to Austin, Texas, on November 16, during Formula 1 Grand Prix Weekend. It will take over RIO Rooftop and Restaurant, located on the city’s party-friendly Sixth Street.

From sweet mixology to sweet mixes: Arts District drinkery Velveteen Rabbit launches its first monthly party November 15, dubbed No Requests. DJs 8-Bits, Soulrane and guests will stray from the norm to showcase deep cuts, rare tracks and vinyl singles.

Over Halloween weekend, Wiz Khalifa headlined at Tao with a live set; The Weeknd made his Vegas debut at Pure and also played Hakkasan’s Ling Ling Room; and Body English transformed into a “Jack ’n’ Cake Day of the Dead” courtesy of local party crew Collective Zoo.
