The LA Kings celebrated their Stanley Cup win at Wet Republic.

Beauty Bar, the first of the Fremont East nightlife and bar venues, has been sold to Pawn Stars principal Corey Harrison and Darin Feinstein, part-owner of LA’s Viper Room. On July 1, the duo will have 90-percent ownership, with current owner Paul Devitt retaining a 10 percent stake.

New general manager Danny Wiedenbeck tells the Weekly that changes are afoot, including new sound and bathrooms, along with minor renovations. “We are coming in with a much larger budget and are looking to get back to the old Beauty Bar rock ’n’ roll days.” Current booker/events manager Ruben Rodriguez will remain at the part bar, part music venue, part indie club, which opened in 2005.

Fizz Champagne lounge at Caesars Palace will begin a Saturday afterhours party starting at 3 a.m. on June 28. DJ Shift will provide the music.

On June 20, the LA Kings hockey team celebrated their recent Stanley Cup championship with a visit to Wet Republic, where we’re guessing DJ Steve Aoki already had cake ready. The athletes’ plus-one? The gigantic trophy itself, which was also the guest of honor when the team partied at XS the night before.

On June 17, The Crystal Method performed a DJ set at Drai’s Beach Club to commemorate its 20th anniversary and kick off EDC Week and the EDMBiz conference. Former Vegas resident Chris Cox opened for the duo, which is comprised of Scott Kirkland and Ken Jordan.

Come July, DayDream Pool Club at M Resort will celebrate L.I.P.P. Service Wednesdays, with local/industry dudes getting in for $10. Women now enjoy free admission for the summer.
