Nightlife News & Notes: 3LAU at Life, NYE announcements and more

Life has released its talent schedule through December 30, and among the most interesting additions are underground icons Guy Gerber (December 21) and Loco Dice (December 28); Deep Disher Sharam, who will play a special Christmas night set; and a December 12 performance by Vegas-based 3LAU, who left Marquee to sign on with Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub in May. A rep from Drai’s says 3LAU remains a non-exclusive resident.

Speaking of underground events: Joining Tacos & Beer’s Techno Taco Tuesday and Downtown Cocktail Room’s Cymatic Sessions on the Valley’s weekly and locals-oriented house/techno circuit is Satay Thai Bistro & Bar’s Habitat Saturdays, which previewed on November 1 but officially begins November 22.

New southeastern restaurant Lucky Foo’s will also feature alternative DJ programming, giving Green Valley, Henderson and Silverado Ranch a legit—and late-night—groove spot. The Asian-themed eatery/bar hosts its grand opening on November 14.
