Nightlife News & Notes: Hakkasan Group to transform Pure into Omnia

Come Spring 2015, Pure will be Omnia. Hakkasan Group recently announced its latest nightlife venue, a 75,000-square-foot complex inside Caesars Palace with a main room and mezzanine, ultra-lounge and rooftop garden. “Omnia” is Latin for “all things,” which suggests a versatile programming focus. Speaking of new spots, Jason Strauss tells the Weekly an announcement about a new Tao Group destination is forthcoming—though that’s all the co-managing partner is saying: “We have a few venue opportunities in the cooker. We’re not able to discuss where yet.”

Count Las Vegas nightlife in for breast cancer awareness. Venues participating in proceed-sharing contributions to breast cancer organizations throughout October include: Drai’s Beach Club & Nightclub, which will donate 5 percent of every ticket sale; STK Las Vegas, which has pledged to give 100 percent of sales of its Belvedere Strawberry Cobbler cocktail; and Revolver Saloon, the northwestern country hang contributing its $5 Wednesday and Thursday cover charges.

Life Is Beautiful recently released the performer timetable for its October 24-26 edition. Nightlifers looking to plan their groove schedule can do so now, with Friday including Holy Ghost (3:15 p.m.), Baauer (5:45 p.m.), Girl Talk (6:50 p.m.) and RAC (9:45 p.m.); Saturday featuring Tycho (5:45 p.m.), DJ Cassidy (5:55 p.m.) and DJ Mustard (7:40 p.m.); and A-Trak (6:45 p.m.), Galantis (7:05 p.m.) and Skrillex (10:15 p.m.) on Sunday. In addition to the official lineup, a slew of house, techno and bass DJs will play the Dancetronauts art car each day.
