Sometimes as a photographer, I need to remind myself to keep shooting and not just watch what’s going on in front of me. This was one of those instances. When Tawney Bubbles began her balloon act, I was amused by her stage presence and skill. Then things took a turn for the amazing. She produced a huge pink balloon, and before we knew it, she had blown it up and placed it over her entire head. Soon her whole body was inside, and she walked around a bit, her head emerging to the delight of the crowd. I focused on her face as she began to leap just twice, capturing her in midair.
