Breaking down big breakfast numbers at Aria Café

Admit it: You want to know what 50,000 strips of bacon looks like.

There are 600 seats at Aria Café, the largest 24-hour café on the Strip. Since it’s busiest on weekend mornings (can you imagine the Sunday checkout rush?) and during late nights, this mega-diner is big on breakfast. The No. 1 selling item is three eggs with bacon and wheat toast. How much food does that equal in one month?

11,232 slices of wheat bread

If you made a toast tower, it would be 700 feet tall, higher than Aria’s tallest peak.

26,100 eggs

If you lined up each egg it would stretch from Aria to the Bellagio fountains and back.

5,980 pounds of hash browns

That means somebody peeled and shredded almost 15,000 potatoes. Hopefully not just one guy.

50,160 strips of bacon

That’s over 3,000 pounds of bacon.

608 gallons each of ketchup and orange juice

Hopefully no one was mixing them together. The café serves fresh-squeezed juice, meaning somebody squeezed more than 29,000 oranges.
