Made L.V. at Tivoli Village hosts Southern Wine and Spirits chef Benoit Cornet and mixologist J.R. Starkus for an evening of cocktails and cuisine on June 24 at 6:30 p.m. On the match-up menu: passed bites of duck leg confit terrine and smoked Arctic char crudo with Total Eclipse Punch, and roasted organic chicken with chanterelles paired with Ends of the Earth, a cocktail of gin, black pepper shrub and thyme. Tickets are $39 and reservations can be made by calling 702-722-2000.

The Downtown dining Renaissance has delivered some great pizza to the neighborhood, but now there’s a bona fide local institution dishing it up. The Market on Fremont Street is now serving Metro Pizza every day, by the slice or as whole pies. In other Downtown news: The Goodwich is planning to move its delicious operations to the former Resnick’s Grocery space inside Soho Lofts, and new, nearby restaurants Therapy, Zydeco Po-Boys and Siegel’s 1941 (inside the El Cortez) have all opened in the last week.

Chef Scott Conant’s DOCG at the Cosmopolitan begins serving lunch on June 29 and will be open for lunch every day at 11:30 a.m. New menu highlights include a chicken “parmigiano” sandwich with burrata and smoked tomatoes, an antipasto salad with soppressata, provolone and red wine vinaigrette, and ricotta raviolini with stewed tomato and basil.

Table 10 at Palazzo has launched a new lunch deal—two courses for $20. Pick an entree from options like crisp roasted chicken with mustard gnocchi, pea ravioli with ricotta salata or a Croque Madame, then choose between an appetizer or dessert option to round out your meal. Table 10 is open for lunch daily at 11 a.m.

Table 10’s sister restaurant Delmonico Steakhouse at Venetian has created a three-course summer dinner menu featuring fresh seasonal favorites. Take your pick from several options in each course, including New Orleans gumbo, beef carpaccio, Alaskan halibut with risotto-style vegetables, mushroom-crusted petite filet medallions and more. The menu runs through September for $65 per person.

Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill at Downtown Summerlin is launching a family-style Sunday supper, a special menu available every week for $25 per person for parties of four or more. Highlights include heirloom tomato salad, rotisserie chicken, mesquite-grilled flat iron steak and sides of Tuscan potatoes and broccolini. Dessert? How about Summer cherry crumble with pistachio ice cream. You might not want to share that one.

Okay, local eaters: We know it’s hot and you don’t wanna drive all the way down to the Strip, but DB Brasserie is making it worth the trip. The Venetian restaurant is offering locals a 30 percent discount for brunch, lunch or dinner all summer long, through September 7 (basically every time except happy hour). All you have to do is show your Nevada ID.
