Dining News & Notes: In-N-Out at the Linq, The Market gets Bronzed and more

Soon, you’ll get your In-N-Out fix on the Strip.

The most popular burger in Las Vegas not on the Strip is coming to the Strip. In-N-Out will open this fall at the Linq Promenade between Sprinkles cupcakes and Flour & Barley pizza. In-N-Out’s arrival is part of a recent restaurant announcement that also includes the return of Canter’s Deli to Las Vegas, set to open in late summer across from Yard House. Canter’s previously operated at Treasure Island.

But wait, there’s more … burger news. Chef Michael LaPlaca of Portofino at the Mirage has been Instagramming delicious pics of burgers in recent weeks, and now we know why. The resort’s BLT Burger will be closing April 5 and reopening two days later as LVB Burgers & Bar with a new menu of gourmet burgers, salads, sides and shakes crafted by LaPlaca.

And more! DB Brasserie at Venetian is celebrating its second anniversary by bringing back chef Daniel Boulud’s celebrated burger, the Piggie, available throughout the month of April with a glass of CraftHaus Resinate IPA for $22. It’s a 7-ounce beef patty with pulled pork, jalapeño, lettuce and mustard-vinegar slaw on a cheddar bun.

Eat this in April at DB Brasserie.

Bronze Café is teaming up with the Market. The popular café currently operating inside the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada on Maryland Parkway will bring its menu to the Fremont East market, opened in October 2014 by Downtown Project. Bronze Café at the Market will launch in May, bringing Bronze’s sandwiches, salads, soups, smoothies, pastries and more, while the store will continue to provide grocery staples and add new vegan and organic options.

Public House at Venetian celebrates National Beer Day with a weekend of specialty suds from the West Coast’s Bruery and Bruery Terreux. Among the beers on the Public House taps April 7 to 10 will be Bruery Terreux Gypsy Tart and Humulus Terreux and the Bruery’s Mischief, Mash and Cuivre.

Border Grill’s Backyard BBQ events are back, starting on April 9 in tandem with the Cole Swindell concert at the Beach at Mandalay Bay. Prior to each of the summer concerts, a special menu is served on the patio from 6:30 to 8 p.m. with food items at $3-$8, $5 beers and $7 margaritas.

Honey Salt’s next Farm Table dinner is set for April 12, a “Spring Into April” feast including bacon-wrapped fig skewers, a Prime Color Farms tomato salad, porchetta and sugo (braised pork shoulder) and more. The dinner is $45 and reservations can be made at 702-445-6100.
